Live Q&A and polls

Purpose and prerequisites

Operate real-time participant questions and polls only for a confirmed session, with an authorized live-program operator and Programming approval of content.

Supported path and procedure

Use /admin/live; source presents Polls and Questions tabs. /live is participant-facing, and /ask-talks is separately signed-in, so confirm the intended intake before announcing it.

1. Confirm session, moderator, question policy, and approved poll copy.
2. In Polls, verify text/options before activation; announce only after availability is observed.
3. In Questions, moderate for relevance, safety, duplication, and time. Submitted does not mean selected.
4. Close polls/questions under Programming direction and capture approved results.

Evidence, recovery, and escalation

Use a non-admin view when practical. Do not claim totals are final solely from a screen refresh or edit vote records directly. For an incorrect poll/moderation decision, stop promotion, preserve IDs/timestamps, and ask Programming whether to correct or replace. Suspected vote integrity, cross-session visibility, or data exposure follows incident response.
